I hope to blog about great things in 2010. This is MY year. This is the year I am going to live for me FIRST and take care of myself.<br /><br />I have done well for myself so far, but I think I can do much better. It is only February so it is certainly onward and upward everyday. The motivation is one of the hardest parts and a roller coaster ride at that. (I HATE ROLLERCOASTERS) Some days I feel like I can run 20 miles, clean the entire house sparkly clean, and run all necessary errands. Then...there are days I don't feel like doing ANYTHING. I give myself a one free pass on that if I have worked a lot the previous days, but those free passes aren't getting me closer to my goals.<br /><br />All in all, I am happy with what I am doing and getting back on track towards my ultimate goals.<br /><br />So, I will start with this last weekend.<br /><br />I have decided to use my new Weight Watchers cookbook I got for Christmas and find a recipe every week. I make the recipe in full and take leftovers to work for about 3 days of enjoyment. I have done this with a few times, but my last meal adventure was documented :)<br /><br /><br />There are a lot of yummy recipes in here:<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4qTS_xDZZ6ToAsIcGZLA4i4Wm5ISfIu5PheeWma1PJ7gbIbnv3fVRpBcr_NUNwa-WQ28DP4SC6Rx8njm2Hc5CTg4UTcI2B9ecV4r29BqOQwCt7h4tKdVZuEjFdzUe_L6vYbsf_1Ebbm3c/s1600-h/February+2010+037.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 213px; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5438718358337973618" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4qTS_xDZZ6ToAsIcGZLA4i4Wm5ISfIu5PheeWma1PJ7gbIbnv3fVRpBcr_NUNwa-WQ28DP4SC6Rx8njm2Hc5CTg4UTcI2B9ecV4r29BqOQwCt7h4tKdVZuEjFdzUe_L6vYbsf_1Ebbm3c/s320/February+2010+037.JPG" /></a><br /><br />I decided on the recipe <strong>SAUSAGE MUSHROOM AND TOMATO STEW</strong><br /><strong></strong><br /><strong></strong><br />First, I browned some turkey sausage, mushrooms, and zucchini.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyaatmrKeUo9_B-UvCj_cIgFeZi-Q1hGVJucoGPUw0p49WCDozH42JvHw5qUu1W86nP0a-yF2ySqT-_cAMOz-JB0-lRQW5aEyDRpH6dNvddqREnzJb8AL_Yo-1Dv1vb1soX2FVwaJcdiYS/s1600-h/February+2010+011.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 320px; HEIGHT: 213px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5438720054993203762" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyaatmrKeUo9_B-UvCj_cIgFeZi-Q1hGVJucoGPUw0p49WCDozH42JvHw5qUu1W86nP0a-yF2ySqT-_cAMOz-JB0-lRQW5aEyDRpH6dNvddqREnzJb8AL_Yo-1Dv1vb1soX2FVwaJcdiYS/s320/February+2010+011.JPG" /></a><br /><br />Then, I added the kidney beans, petite cut tomatoes, tomato sauce, and spinach and let it simmer over medium heat.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNehte2-hYVkBixElFcdG5wooLy65ZJoVnvrFqrtUh-c7d5rmLUz9xoEoCrrbehkwtUbdoJXHiPEFEvaf_ELiB71-Vh9N0wEFREMh-u0yFXhdV6ZcFuTFMn8zEhSS2g0k8XOff1uVhSpRn/s1600-h/February+2010+027.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 320px; HEIGHT: 213px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5438720987181047474" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNehte2-hYVkBixElFcdG5wooLy65ZJoVnvrFqrtUh-c7d5rmLUz9xoEoCrrbehkwtUbdoJXHiPEFEvaf_ELiB71-Vh9N0wEFREMh-u0yFXhdV6ZcFuTFMn8zEhSS2g0k8XOff1uVhSpRn/s320/February+2010+027.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br />All the while, I decided I needed some CARBS!! I decided on some red potatoes. I have wanted to roast some red potatoes for a while now, so I found a simple way to put them together. I cubed the reds, tossed them in olive oil and mixed in some onion soup mix. I roasted them for about 40 minutes.<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQbjQUILZKuP8Y7nyaVF4eN2gBJmNGKXMQQhBSSDwJnMw0c3d8hSbEtml_TD1l58chfyV4-BISj073Ps9-m5UOMCtlqo7mk5Q2pQa9q2HOITW6ONqz-6ybsN0Ovw4axprW7EjRHfCJYl_e/s1600-h/February+2010+009.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 320px; HEIGHT: 213px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5438722326495273906" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQbjQUILZKuP8Y7nyaVF4eN2gBJmNGKXMQQhBSSDwJnMw0c3d8hSbEtml_TD1l58chfyV4-BISj073Ps9-m5UOMCtlqo7mk5Q2pQa9q2HOITW6ONqz-6ybsN0Ovw4axprW7EjRHfCJYl_e/s320/February+2010+009.JPG" /></a><br /><br />I could hardly wait to dig in. After I cleaned up the mess, I cleaned up and gave myself a manicure and pedicure...With bright red fingers and toes. It was really nice. Here I am, loving MYSELF. I am learning that YOU are the most important person in YOUR life and LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT!!!! :)<br /><br /><br />I also thought I would share with you my Valentines Box I made for work. I don't really think I need to explain my motivation behind it. If I had the chance to take a trip in a Delorian, I would without a doubt, choose to go to Bethel, New York for the 3 day festival.<br /><br />I recently purchased a really neat collectors edition of Woodstock documentaries and replicas of ticket stubs and items used and seen at the festival. What a great purchase.<br /><br />Watching the documentaries is SOOOOO cool to me. I love seeing how these people lived and how 1,000,000+ people loved and cared for one another and were all there for the same reason. For peace, love and music. There were no problems at the festival. Just a bunch of free spirited, drug having, happliy tripping music lovers.<br /><br />I have come to learn of all the performers and their music. My favorite of the festival would have to be Janis Joplin, Crosby Stills Nash, Joe Cocker, Jefferson Airplane, Country Joe, Sly and the Family Stone, Jimi Hendrix....basically all of the bands.<br /><br />I would like to share my favorite performance. It is Joe Cocker's rendition of With A Little Help From My Friends. Just watching the passion and intensity of this song sends chills down my spine and has me smiling from ear to ear. So fun to watch! Enjoy....<br /><br /><br /><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/TdzATfZP1Mc&hl=en&fs=1&"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/TdzATfZP1Mc&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object><br /><br />Definitely one of my FAVORITE things.<br /><br />PeaceEmilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09780933126895324872noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1174894488847469968.post-31901376873812371922009-03-21T21:58:00.000-07:002009-03-21T22:38:31.043-07:00We'll see you all again in 1974<span style="font-family:arial;">Doesn't everybody have a favorite movie?</span><br /><span style="font-family:arial;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">Many peoples' favorite movie changes as new ones come out, but I think there is a REAL FAVORITE for everyone. One that holds that special place in your heart and will always be the movie you can plug in when there's nothing else to watch.</span><br /><span style="font-family:arial;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">For me, that movie is</span> <strong><span style="font-family:Arial;font-size:180%;color:#ffff00;">Almost Famous</span></strong><br /><strong><span style="font-family:Arial;font-size:180%;color:#ffff00;"></span></strong><br /><span style="font-family:Arial;color:#000000;">Almost Famous was one of those movies that didn't do well in theaters and didn't roll in the dough. I don't understand why! People just have different taste in movies, and that's cool, but I think this movie is incredible! My brother and parents also love this movie. </span><br /><span style="font-family:Arial;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Arial;">And the soundtrack...AMAZING. The music is all 60's, 70's...which I'm sure by know you all know is my favorite.</span><br /><span style="font-family:Arial;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Arial;"><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Almost_Famous">Here</a> is a link to the Wikipedia article and description of the movie, but I HIGHLY suggest seeing it.</span><br /><span style="font-family:Arial;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Arial;">Along with this being my favorite movie....here is my favorite scene...and conveniently done with one of my favorite songs. This scene sends chills down my spine and puts a huge smile on my face. </span><br /><span style="font-family:Arial;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Arial;">Leading up to the scene, the band Stillwater has been in a fight. They went their seperate ways for the evening. Russell (lead singer of the band) and William (the journalist) were invited to a house party where Russell becomes under the influence of drugs and does crazy stuff, such as screaming "I am a golden God" from a roof top before jumping into a swimming pool. The next morning, the rest of the band was notified and went to pick up Russell. There is silence back on the bus, but as you'll see, the power of this song was able to help them free their worries and be happy!</span><br /><span style="font-family:Arial;"></span><br /><br /><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/7Qn3tel9FWU&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x234900&color2=0x4e9e00"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/7Qn3tel9FWU&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x234900&color2=0x4e9e00" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object><br /><br />I invite anyone over who would like to watch it!!!!!!Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09780933126895324872noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1174894488847469968.post-32876425671133278302009-03-08T11:29:00.000-07:002009-03-08T12:16:05.856-07:00Good PeopleThere is something about good people that swells my heart. I have always LOVED seeing good samaritans in action. For example: A few years back I was driving with my mom and we were stuck behind a few cars. The light was green and nobody was moving! I was getting irritated, but mostly because I can be somewhat impatient. The next thing I could see were people in the street. When I finally zoned in on what was going on, I saw at least 5 guys who had jumped out of their vehicles and were pushing this gasless vehicle into the nearby Chevron. I just love knowing that these people had no problem helping this car when they could have easily kept going towards where they were headed. Not just one but five! I thought it was cute. Maybe this is something many people have seen, but I know it was a big deal in my life because I still remember it and can visualize it years later. As we got through the intersection, my mom and I talked about good people. I know MANY good people and I am so glad they are in this world.<br /><div></div><br /><div>This 'Good People' blog was inspired by a news story I saw on Friday night. My grandma and I were having dinner and the ABC nightly news was on. The TV was mostly background noise as we were talking and eating our dinner. But if you know my grandma, you know that bathroom breaks are frequent. So she rolled down the hall and I started to watch the TV. It was the end of the news cast and they always have the Person of the Week which I love to see. This particular story had immediately caught my attention because the persons of interest were children with cancer. The story is about Ironworkers who are building a new cancer institute next to the currents institute, called Dana-Farber. The kids enjoy watching them work. One day the kids started making signs that said "hi" and were also putting up signs with their names on them. Since then, the ironworkers have spray painted the kids' names on the beams in fluorescent colors. The story is very touching! </div><a href="http://bitsandpieces.us/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/imagesbeam2.jpg"><img style="WIDTH: 500px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 333px" alt="" src="http://bitsandpieces.us/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/imagesbeam2.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div></div><br /><div>This is the link to the actual news story: </div><br /><div><a href="http://abcnews.go.com/video/playerIndex?id=7027264">http://abcnews.go.com/video/playerIndex?id=7027264</a></div><br /><div></div><div>I am a sucker for these types of stories and I would have to say that stuff like this is definitely one of my FAVORITE things! :) </div><br /><div></div><div>Thanks to all of you who make a difference in peoples' lives!!</div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div>Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09780933126895324872noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1174894488847469968.post-22839764557563318212009-02-22T12:39:00.000-08:002009-02-22T13:52:52.232-08:00Brilliant Idea!!<div>I often think about things to blog about, but my daily living is not much more than going to school, going to work, and cleaning my apartment (really). I have decided to do posts of my favorite things. One favorite thing per blog. I figure that can't take too much time, right?? Especially if it is something I am passionate about. I don't know if it's "brilliant" but I'm thinking it will help me to blog more. WOO!!!<br /><div><br /><div><div><div>Today's favorite thing is <span style="font-size:180%;">VINYL</span>!!</div><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOYFVxPNrOjdL7w-uP6E15SSyxFRcsXiWqJw_UmXxLv29XrbBmvizBqnORB-dehkHfFPonHu8R0eZ8wKKKMGpSSjSWguROlXDkPpqS4QhJ5z6rpHWUVcEKxvs2NuRvgXjVIndjtgKWPSlN/s1600-h/February+132.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5305740275712300354" style="WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOYFVxPNrOjdL7w-uP6E15SSyxFRcsXiWqJw_UmXxLv29XrbBmvizBqnORB-dehkHfFPonHu8R0eZ8wKKKMGpSSjSWguROlXDkPpqS4QhJ5z6rpHWUVcEKxvs2NuRvgXjVIndjtgKWPSlN/s320/February+132.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div>As many of you know, I am super obsessed with antique vinyl and the way an old record sounds. My dad has a bunch of old records that he listened to back in the day and every once in a while I would take a trip down memory lane with him as he pulled each one out one by one and told a story about them. He remembered most years he purchased them, how much they cost, and certain events he would do while listening to them. </div><br /><div>I expressed my desire to own records of my own. My mom told me about this groovy place called Randy's Records in Salt Lake that bought and sold vinyl records. I was ecstatic!! The first time I walked in there, I felt chills run down my spine. The place smelled of dusty cardboard...Weird I know, but it's the smell of antique. I immediately explored the massive selection. I spent a good hour in there and came out with some fabulous stuff, oh, and a hole in my pocket. I have been MANY times since and continue to find some wonderful records. </div><a href="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2355/2112033882_3a39b0b76c.jpg?v=0"><img style="WIDTH: 429px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 270px" alt="" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2355/2112033882_3a39b0b76c.jpg?v=0" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div>When I started my collection, I didn't own a record player. I had looked around a bit, but for the time being, I was just excited to have the records. I wish the records could speak of their journey. Which hippies owned them? How many times did they play the record? What joy did these records bring to these people? I often wonder all of these things. My favorite records are those made in the 60's and the 70's. I like all kinds of music, but that is by far my favorite genre. They have all sorts of genres!! I hope my collection will be a library one day!</div><br /><div>As my collection grew, I became more anxious to get them on a turn table. My dreams came true on Christmas morning 2007. I immediately ran to my room and grabbed a few of the records and learned the mechanics of "no buttons". Soon there after, my ears were in heaven. It was everything I had hoped for!!!!<br /></div><div>To this day, I make trips to Randy's Records and limit myself to a few each time. I have hundreds of dollars worth of records. I am excited at the fact that bands are coming out with a vinyl option. I purchased one after Anberlin's concert last year. So fun!!</div><br /><div>Everything from going to the record store, loooking around, and getting home to listen to these records are definitely one of my FAVORITE THINGS! </div><br /><div>I invite anyone over to sit back and enjoy a few albums with me. Since Thanksgiving, I have done A LOT!! I finished fall semester classes in the middle of december which was a total relief. I enjoyed the holiday season and did a lot of fun stuff from parties to family traditions. I love all of the traditions that take place during the holidays. We make gingerbread men and eat chicken simon and garfunkel (SO GOOD) and we see the Nutcracker ballet followed by Benihanas and of course do a lot of family hopping on Christmas day. I had a great Christmas. It was the first time I slept back at my parents house since I moved out and it was nice to get to be around them a lot. It's always sad when the holiday season is over, but it's onward and upward from there.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />For New Years, I rang it in with my good friends from high school. We always have a good time. I love it when we get to hang out because it seems to be less and less with all of our crazy lives!<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />The new year has been going well for me so far, I have just been working and cleaning my apartment. It has been a nice break from school but I am honeslty so ready to get back to school! This last week has been really boring for me. I'm enjoying it though because I know as soon as two weeks back in school goes by I will be wishing I could relax a bit. Such is life!<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />One thing I have lacked on posting about is the AMAZING University of Utah football team and all of their glory and success!!!! I had the opportunity to take pictures of the MUSS from the field which was a fun experience. I am so glad I got to be a member of the MUSS board during this phenomenal season. I traveled on the bus to San Diego with a bunch of friends which was an awesome time. The Utes had a perfect season, 12-0! They got invited to play Alabama in the Sugar Bowl on January 2nd. The Utes shocked 89% of the nation by more than proving their outstanding abilities and "seal-clubbed" the Crimson Tide. Utah finished off with the ONLY undefeated season in the nation. 13-0. They were ranked #2 behind Florida, but I believe they are #1. They have nothing else to prove. They did amazing. It has been so fun to be a part of University of Utah history. I'm looking forward to next season already! And a little congrats to my friend Mallory for being the MUSS president for next season! She is totally deserving and extremely dedicated to the Utes!!<br /><p align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGbJRkWIyld284Ehe4aVrVz6A9sPgu4i6xCIdzEP3pk0Ma6K8fIwHiCuB7tN2vo8N0Zgk72A-pv8ODn6FLCWCCpkDsz6VF4avxUA0GHbNTG6C3jS5hvfwaRKLZ_LE4E595IfjilIrfV1VS/s1600-h/UTAH+NATIONAL+CHAMPIONS.bmp"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289824294199150002" style="WIDTH: 192px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 287px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGbJRkWIyld284Ehe4aVrVz6A9sPgu4i6xCIdzEP3pk0Ma6K8fIwHiCuB7tN2vo8N0Zgk72A-pv8ODn6FLCWCCpkDsz6VF4avxUA0GHbNTG6C3jS5hvfwaRKLZ_LE4E595IfjilIrfV1VS/s320/UTAH+NATIONAL+CHAMPIONS.bmp" border="0" /></a></p>Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09780933126895324872noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1174894488847469968.post-28934054170865833472008-11-26T22:48:00.000-08:002008-11-27T00:06:08.800-08:00Happy Thanksgiving! The days leading up to Thanksgiving are always full of thoughts and peace in my heart. I am happy there is a holiday that recognizes the act of giving thanks. I also always tell myself there is no reason being thankful shouldn't be a daily occurence. I AM thankful for things daily and I work hard all year to thank those around me and to be thankful for things going on in my life. Whether these things are good or bad, there is always something to learn from an experience and be thankful for.<br /><br /><div><div></div><div>Thanksgiving was never meant to be shut up in a single day. ~Robert Caspar Lintner</div><br /><br /><div></div><div>I want to use this post to put my thanks in line....</div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div align="center"><span style="font-family:arial;font-size:130%;color:#009900;"><strong>I am thankful for:</strong></span></div><br /><div>~My very loving, caring, sweet, supportive, AMAZING parents. I have a great relationship with my parents and I am extremely thankful for that. They have been there for me my whole life.</div><br /><div>~My younger brother. He is very smart and caring. We also have a great relationship. He is like a best friend and I value the time we get to spend together amidst our busy schedules.</div><br /><div>~My Grandma Betty. I am so thankful for the huge amount of love and support she has given me my whole life. She has taught me A LOT and I am thankful for her love and wisdom.</div><br /><div>~My grandma and grandpa Lindley. I am thankful for their love and support. I don't see them that often but I know they think of me often and love me always.</div><br /><div>~My Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. I am SO thankful I have grown up so close with my cousins and had my aunts and uncles around as my other parents. Everyone lives in Utah and I am so thankful that they are all within reach. They are all so loving and caring. </div><br /><br /><div></div><div>~My FRIENDS! </div><div> </div><div>Old friends: I am still very close with a handful of my friends from high school. I am thankful</div><div>that we we still find time to get together and have a good time like we always </div><div>did in the past. </div><br /><div>Work friends: I have met the most caring and incredible people through work. We have so </div><div>much in common with our personalities and can laugh, cry and tell stories </div><div>together. We occasionally go out and always have a great time.</div><br /><div>New friends: Very recently I have met many amazing people up at school. I am thankful for </div><div>becoming involved and meeting these people and having a BLAST. </div><br /><div>~Heavenly Father. I know I am not great at getting to church all the time or being prayerful, but I know his love for me is strong and I believe that's why I have had a happy and wonderful life.</div><br /><div>~My job. I have the best job in the world! I feel as though I have found the place I want to work for a long long long time. I feel so grateful to work with the patient population that I do. The patients are so inspiring and are so strong. Children are a great gift to everyone and I am so thankful to get to work around them and see them go beyond expectations. </div><br /><div>~My home. I am thankful that I have a warm place to sleep, a warm place to shower, and a place to call home. There are many who aren't as fortunate and it pains my heart to know there are people suffering. I know I take for granted the shelter I have and the facilities that I use. I am thankful to have a home sweet home.</div><br /><div>~My health. I know that I put myself down sometimes for being out of shape, but being healthy is much much more than that. I am fortunate to have a healthy heart, my legs and arms, sight, hearing and most of all, a happy heart. I know there are many depressed and sad people in this world and I am fortunate to have such a happy outlook on life. After much thought, I am a healthy person and I am thankful for that. </div><br /><div>~My education. The last few years I have taken school for granted. Until now, I have never appreciated learning and it showed in my grades and my motivation to do well. I am thankful that I have found the motivation to well and get throught school. I have realized not all youth go on to higher education for one reason or another, and I am thankful it has been an opportunity that I have. </div><br /><div>~Utah Football! I am thankful for the Runnin' Utes and how well they have done for themselves this season. They are so fun to watch and I can't wait to see what they have in store for the future.</div><br /><div>~Music! Music is such a descriptor for my mood. I am always listening to music and getting lost in the lyrics. I am thankful for the great daily getaway to be entranced in some wonderful music. </div><br /><div>~Pictures. Memories are so important and I am thankful for the ability to document adventures and the great things in life.</div><br /><div>~Laughter!!! Where would anyone be without laughter!!! I am so thankful that I can laugh and I do it ALL THE TIME!!! </div><br /><div>~Nature. Need I say more??</div><br /><div>~I am thankful for all things!!!!!</div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div align="center"><span style="font-size:180%;">I am thankful for my WONDERFUL life! :)</span></div><br /><div align="left">For each new morning with its light,</div><div align="left">For rest and shelter of the night,</div><div align="left">For health and food, for love and friends,</div><div align="left">For everything Thy goodness sends.~Ralph Waldo Emerson</div><div align="left">For flowers that bloom about our feet;</div><br /><div align="left"> </div><div align="left">For tender grass, so fresh, so sweet;</div><div align="left">For song of bird, and hum of bee;</div><div align="left">For all things fair we hear or see,</div><div align="left">Father in heaven, we thank Thee!~Ralph Waldo Emerson</div><br /><div align="left"> </div><div align="left">"As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them." ~John F. Everyone was dressed up so fun and cute! I never really do anything, anyway. So I was happy to work! I was a bumble bee this year. It was a last minute decision. And it only cost me about 7 dollars. I made the tutu, bought some yellow electric tape and used pipe cleaners and a head band for antennas. I was very happy with the turn out. I don't think I ate a regular meal that day. I lived on cookies, candy, candy, and more candy. SO BAD! I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! </div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9k0tK14iDZfcgvzC3smhK7sXH8jUb-2z7baMINPRcOZKHC8cw6NNLppIf07gTqpIaQZieVVCVI9qNk4VDcMBKOk8qkiDzYVxnrJuZYUPGGsZBv1lZ31TEPwGmXETe_rfUG4QoHLwnohag/s1600-h/halloween+2008+005.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9k0tK14iDZfcgvzC3smhK7sXH8jUb-2z7baMINPRcOZKHC8cw6NNLppIf07gTqpIaQZieVVCVI9qNk4VDcMBKOk8qkiDzYVxnrJuZYUPGGsZBv1lZ31TEPwGmXETe_rfUG4QoHLwnohag/s320/halloween+2008+005.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5264130425525360114" /></a><div style="text-align: center;"> My friend Rick and I. But I am also excited to get back into school and have a regular schedule and sleep habits. I am also very excited that the football season is right around the corner!!! Saturday is the first U of U game at Michigan. I can't even wait to watch it! I have many goals for this semester and I hope I can fulfill them, inside and outside of the classroom. I have a lack of motivation when it comes to studying. Which is why I'm STILL in college. I also lack the motivation to go to the gym, and eat healthy. Where do I get the motivation that lasts? I'm working on that this semester. Wish me luck! :) </div><br /><div></div><br /><div>I will get posts with pictures soon! </div><br /><div></div><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 284px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" height="268" alt="" src="http://www.lifeinthevalley.com/images/photos/2007/uofu-football.jpg" border="0" />5 more days until UTAH FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!<br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div>Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09780933126895324872noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1174894488847469968.post-71729139861958790272008-07-22T13:07:00.001-07:002008-07-22T13:22:29.209-07:00Best Friends<div>I am so blessed to have these <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">girlies</span> in my life. They are so amazing and so unique. We all became friends our Freshman year of high school. Beth and Amanda were friends from a prior school. I am so glad I met these girls. I had left the people I knew from public school and went to a totally different place where I only knew one person my age. I was super shy. We have definitely all created some incredible memories together. Most of them funny! Like the time Amanda and I found an 80's workout video at Beth's house and plugged it in and started working up a sweat... at 3 a.m. Or the time we were on the hunt to find Beth and Madison who were 'in a tree'. But we found them in the bushes at the church. Maybe you had to be there... but that is just a few memories for now. We don't see each other as often as we used to (obviously). We all have our own things going on but we always make it a point to all get together. Beth and I still hang out quite a bit. We're summer concert buddies! She is awesome. Madison is expecting her little girl, Ada, any day now. I can't wait. And Amanda is in love with Joe, who is in the Navy and she's moving to be with him soon. That makes me sad, but I know they'll be back! :) I could go on and on and on and on and on about these girls and our friendship. But for now, I just wanted to give them a shout out. </div><div><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpdWQ2p1gpYuPKP53mLZnzxm_H9ht7JZCVYJt2Z3yfPAw5Nzzf8Z-7s17aKckTZpESEV6Khos5uTvkSCxsnG4sav3MPizGwgZA_uO2XkLgZ2Omcz873QbqSSpUvLGcbjl6HTxx2GO7o0Sn/s1600-h/DSC_0249.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpdWQ2p1gpYuPKP53mLZnzxm_H9ht7JZCVYJt2Z3yfPAw5Nzzf8Z-7s17aKckTZpESEV6Khos5uTvkSCxsnG4sav3MPizGwgZA_uO2XkLgZ2Omcz873QbqSSpUvLGcbjl6HTxx2GO7o0Sn/s320/DSC_0249.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5225932850758792578" /></a><div style="text-align: center;">Beth, Madison, Amanda, Me</div>Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09780933126895324872noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1174894488847469968.post-28378676001918435242008-07-18T23:48:00.000-07:002008-07-19T00:10:21.690-07:00PCMC NTU HUC party!Wednesday night was our clerk party which pretty much meant we all had work off. What an awesome day! Heidi, Randi, and I got together early for a dollar movie and then hit up El Chihuahua for some nachos and HUGE margaritas. As they say, one tequila....two tequila...three tequila...floor. But I say, one tequila...floor!! That drink did something silly to me. But it sure was delicious. Following the Chi HUA HUA we headed for some good old fashioned bowling. Props to Randi and Heidi for organizing it so that we got to have yummy pizza and 2 solid hours of bowling. I didn't do the greatest, but it was just fun all around. (I also have to apologize to Jess for smashing her birdy finger between 2 bowling balls! OUCH!) I think that's about it. Good times. I LOVE the people I work with. <div><br /></div><div>Here are some fun pictures from the night. :)<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTFB7WJeVY2PlqKNw5DiZTzsEG3SxOgZrykCHU0ELDNqUGt_EhlZWxN3Z7gTwwyvyUMzi_lxSEA_q-CiuF_k0r9gaVgMF_emMHS2dyXWIe9AuIDBddZN09SQ5ljaw79-8sLnktRYBRln7v/s1600-h/l_ed29b09fdf50ea670b49092473988fd4.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTFB7WJeVY2PlqKNw5DiZTzsEG3SxOgZrykCHU0ELDNqUGt_EhlZWxN3Z7gTwwyvyUMzi_lxSEA_q-CiuF_k0r9gaVgMF_emMHS2dyXWIe9AuIDBddZN09SQ5ljaw79-8sLnktRYBRln7v/s320/l_ed29b09fdf50ea670b49092473988fd4.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5224614970340715298" /></a><div style="text-align: center;">Enjoying our Margaritas</div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVt55l4EWniVDpeg1T6tPzpPaK5SN-JbpTE9SA2m_7xr7DjfYXezmoYJ9tundBf28xEvj4YrRdi7KdYA9LN-tBtYyH6_S5ILWVkppIvnJPhs32Tw5jmcW-LJYCu6qAFke33Rb4nX9CZ2_D/s1600-h/DSCN6610.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVt55l4EWniVDpeg1T6tPzpPaK5SN-JbpTE9SA2m_7xr7DjfYXezmoYJ9tundBf28xEvj4YrRdi7KdYA9LN-tBtYyH6_S5ILWVkppIvnJPhs32Tw5jmcW-LJYCu6qAFke33Rb4nX9CZ2_D/s320/DSCN6610.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5224614973471741522" /></a><div style="text-align: center;">The car ride there</div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvP87rkbjnryhQQ1NBmwrI3zdignIYxRBmvTtaEqnCIvPVloVYAbmkpMeVo_5uhMXEPM3-_7pstvYJuMmItKoUdss79xcA1eVGKDsrxVemnxdxB4IAGAZWgIuJSY2fztLM3Fy5uKqw9Yse/s1600-h/DSCN6639.jpg"><br /><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvP87rkbjnryhQQ1NBmwrI3zdignIYxRBmvTtaEqnCIvPVloVYAbmkpMeVo_5uhMXEPM3-_7pstvYJuMmItKoUdss79xcA1eVGKDsrxVemnxdxB4IAGAZWgIuJSY2fztLM3Fy5uKqw9Yse/s320/DSCN6639.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5224614979183454834" /></a><div style="text-align: center;">Heidi, Katie, and I</div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-aP8k76zBRmU4_i13iWMO8yEJ_SNoMLbkn_CKmWvLLiSAYD6mGq8Vmk32KHZG3u-iFAcGFtxlBNP2iny2yTa0C-007QcTXMXJzWUBcKDnSm0JDrczHzBAFGEcjwfAZ-gF3GxR3th7ORYZ/s1600-h/DSCN6642.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-aP8k76zBRmU4_i13iWMO8yEJ_SNoMLbkn_CKmWvLLiSAYD6mGq8Vmk32KHZG3u-iFAcGFtxlBNP2iny2yTa0C-007QcTXMXJzWUBcKDnSm0JDrczHzBAFGEcjwfAZ-gF3GxR3th7ORYZ/s320/DSCN6642.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5224614982304958098" /></a><div style="text-align: center;">Randi and Heidi being silly</div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTWdyWCtZQ9pMdHbkCqRVsX8fZ5z2odhjOXLxCTvpcbg6PJMtbEegpaK2JfS1bEt_KP3vxckCRDbgBg_5JmVrl654RkWVvwjITqHUk2yzfkV1jv64Umv7P5CsoIqaptCkTmogPLimuYFnX/s1600-h/DSCN6650.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTWdyWCtZQ9pMdHbkCqRVsX8fZ5z2odhjOXLxCTvpcbg6PJMtbEegpaK2JfS1bEt_KP3vxckCRDbgBg_5JmVrl654RkWVvwjITqHUk2yzfkV1jv64Umv7P5CsoIqaptCkTmogPLimuYFnX/s320/DSCN6650.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5224614988667057442" /></a><div style="text-align: center;">Heidi, Randi, Jess and I </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Awesome night!! I did! But now I'm back. I have done SO MUCH since my last post. My summer has been so so fun. I will have to catch you up on the things I have done for sure. It includes, a wedding, road trips, summer concerts, being silly with friends, and a bunch more. I hope to be getting back on track, but for now, I say, I'M BACK!!! :)Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09780933126895324872noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1174894488847469968.post-30994986025414133632008-04-27T23:06:00.000-07:002008-04-27T23:15:13.362-07:00Senior!!!!Isn't she lovely??? I'm proud to say she is my family. :) We decided today would be a perfect day for some pictures. We went out around sunset and found that the canyon we went to was ugly as all hell...Naked trees and it was silly cold. So we came out with these quick shots from a park and are going to try again in a few weeks when I do my brothers senior pictures. I hope you enjoyed my pictures from the weekend. Much Love!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeYGSv0tZOLiQkCnTHoOTFhwOToIzjGElZ7RoKsmhhgdKqEPIDP1GF5109RkBmlzVFrbUFHW0VLqrPSYoI68y5QEKNnxADXhUQNhwT0zagBsCEDWPy94qlzjYBvmGyrneMEDFPJGq65mUS/s1600-h/DSC_0221.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5194174526585651698" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeYGSv0tZOLiQkCnTHoOTFhwOToIzjGElZ7RoKsmhhgdKqEPIDP1GF5109RkBmlzVFrbUFHW0VLqrPSYoI68y5QEKNnxADXhUQNhwT0zagBsCEDWPy94qlzjYBvmGyrneMEDFPJGq65mUS/s320/DSC_0221.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9I7twNzdzIcwvozgTMM7Ud4ni2NIQR8S7Cf7ZazQEtGmoyj-IEQrK5d9ROsQQaVr_jXC3luLoJ6ofZuRlS4-BpADibcOvXkfO1nGsFRKlIeXtzwNa_gA1O62bKpGpy6AjebIIvgRQHg9-/s1600-h/DSC_0226.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5194174535175586306" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9I7twNzdzIcwvozgTMM7Ud4ni2NIQR8S7Cf7ZazQEtGmoyj-IEQrK5d9ROsQQaVr_jXC3luLoJ6ofZuRlS4-BpADibcOvXkfO1nGsFRKlIeXtzwNa_gA1O62bKpGpy6AjebIIvgRQHg9-/s320/DSC_0226.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div></div>Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09780933126895324872noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1174894488847469968.post-30968990954980128312008-04-27T22:57:00.000-07:002008-04-27T23:06:06.437-07:00Love is in the airIt's that time of year... Love is everywhere! These 2 so happen to be my good friends. Drew and I have been friends since we were sophomores in high school...(that was a long time ago). And Amber is his lovely fiance. The weather was nice (a little chilly) but the sun was out and made for a great day. I did these pictures for my friend Nikki's family. Nikki and I have been friends for about 3 years and she is awesome at referrals. I just love her to bits and pieces. The photo shoot was so fun and her family was great to work with. You can definitely tell from the first picture what the day was like. What an awesome day. Thanks you guys! </p><p align="center"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5194169325380256162" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwW9ise0vSH9td32Ar8yi8UMMKtKicknvc5rU2A7Lf1-wSI-U0GPp0in4CN-KPKH9fdYEORt9AACjeo7dtajLyy28xVKQqUXCIK55FbvcJzSKukKX8WxOQfCNueByhVQLfFGdbrPItVxEu/s320/DSC_0199.JPG" border="0" /></p><p align="center"> </p><div align="center"><br /></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3sPuuTBCKGSTirHQejR6NTjB9QeOvEKRsKmaivAeEVxYhVbH09JGCfTDx5CnUUp_WVScdM3souB3-2btXg85YjMiVRS0Hbmrh4jDMTTIKfR0XyWL8us8BE3oTee82rPfPlB07hyphenhypheneVwOfb/s1600-h/DSC_0060.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5194168393372352850" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3sPuuTBCKGSTirHQejR6NTjB9QeOvEKRsKmaivAeEVxYhVbH09JGCfTDx5CnUUp_WVScdM3souB3-2btXg85YjMiVRS0Hbmrh4jDMTTIKfR0XyWL8us8BE3oTee82rPfPlB07hyphenhypheneVwOfb/s320/DSC_0060.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNmscD1HrgunZ6mG7psazhsj5IBUOcM_eqJ8neCkdiNBWFktk8wKhukbYDXDNNcbZei5oxEAhfDF4nuCCAEmnY9xEL86c9NgVo7GMf6o-SfBfWYAHxNilY6Dz3Iuejs3vH4P88R93wm5bj/s1600-h/DSC_0167-0001.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5194168397667320162" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNmscD1HrgunZ6mG7psazhsj5IBUOcM_eqJ8neCkdiNBWFktk8wKhukbYDXDNNcbZei5oxEAhfDF4nuCCAEmnY9xEL86c9NgVo7GMf6o-SfBfWYAHxNilY6Dz3Iuejs3vH4P88R93wm5bj/s320/DSC_0167-0001.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjAtT1ePq-VAHoxmzM8ss3qzMXaIKIim9IvmhPmohzdZSYW8tfQkgXYZwdkUEpqFl5Hb-754Y6mumgZ7SfrQzM5TDlkOYUKahAl_99rA9Xp_4ueaCSMPbCB6TuQ2FWzSnykz4Es494lsX4/s1600-h/DSC_0097.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5194168401962287474" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjAtT1ePq-VAHoxmzM8ss3qzMXaIKIim9IvmhPmohzdZSYW8tfQkgXYZwdkUEpqFl5Hb-754Y6mumgZ7SfrQzM5TDlkOYUKahAl_99rA9Xp_4ueaCSMPbCB6TuQ2FWzSnykz4Es494lsX4/s320/DSC_0097.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgT8EpXvTTtRFQEOXf92HYQwnxo7vmETF-H0LHslck_YWdl-rEayLUjHEYNaLjSlFynvMfcVJ9hlbDTpeTJLqv7RlAPAg4yk0-IvvcPmAp47_pLWL9zRwURZRo3Fi7cHstKw2yPKrBnGF52/s1600-h/DSC_0111-0001.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5194168410552222082" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgT8EpXvTTtRFQEOXf92HYQwnxo7vmETF-H0LHslck_YWdl-rEayLUjHEYNaLjSlFynvMfcVJ9hlbDTpeTJLqv7RlAPAg4yk0-IvvcPmAp47_pLWL9zRwURZRo3Fi7cHstKw2yPKrBnGF52/s320/DSC_0111-0001.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTxom6LNqbDvwFz2sVAn_vjZChPTwkV1uNxXkI5T1L0N8BrEw_QVpxuRjgh_iHvAu812VhLT-b_PScmjkfNE6miYCtMRfCf3siPEpR246awmaJSwXz5g5Q_JSp43oKLwNk7jNwcL8yLHb7/s1600-h/DSC_0129.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5194168414847189394" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTxom6LNqbDvwFz2sVAn_vjZChPTwkV1uNxXkI5T1L0N8BrEw_QVpxuRjgh_iHvAu812VhLT-b_PScmjkfNE6miYCtMRfCf3siPEpR246awmaJSwXz5g5Q_JSp43oKLwNk7jNwcL8yLHb7/s320/DSC_0129.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div> </div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div></div>Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09780933126895324872noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1174894488847469968.post-58981915294275007382008-04-26T12:31:00.000-07:002008-04-26T12:40:17.520-07:002 hours...<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5193640550481609026" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRUoshfE7EacZZZlihzONV9Tf8aydcUPi-1VDaitdkGmzCxSYc1uznVy6qqgCsp9RqpUh0HIrxYLtvWa0WviF63LiaeY5552QJzsqjqNhTICEiCfzAFWfgvUMK4HnXcjWbxWjJ3bZXb-vq/s320/DSCN6094.JPG" border="0" /><br />In 2 hours I'll be taking some awesome pictures of Nikki and her family. The weather is beautiful and I couldn't be happier to get out for some photography today.<br /><br />Yesterday I went to Pictureline and rented a sweet lense for the weekend and my friend Cody came from work to help me. He's so kind!!! He does photography too and so his knowledge was very helpful!! Pictureline is an incredible place and they definitely have me business from now on. We also took advantage of some of the 7 pairs of sunglasses in my car to shoot this goofy pic.<br /><br />Anyway, I am getting ready to head out, but pictures from today and tomorrow will be up soon. I wanted to make this blog so I can share my photography instead of having to do customized e-mails for everyone to see. Plus, you'll get to enjoy some good music and some random exciting posts I'm sure. I also have this music player that I have no idea what to do with...Or I guess I should say where to put it...So, someone with higher knowledge of such things can help me out?? I'm a tard... I hope this is a fun experience. I hope people who read will comment, otherwise it'll drive me crazy not knowing who checks this out. I have 2 photo shoots coming up this weekend, so with their permission, I will post the work that I do. I'm excited!!!!!Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09780933126895324872noreply@blogger.com1
